Excellent Food, Average Atmosphere

Mussels the other night were outstanding. Lobster ravioli is delicious. Ditto arugula salad with grilled shrimp. And the garlic bread is out of this world. Local sea bass is excellent. We can’t say enough good things about the food and service at Unico. I am not sure why a previous reviewer noted that portion sizes were small- we shared the lobster ravioli, and I can’t imagine eating it alone. Brian (the chef) puts out delicious food, and Ivan’s service is professional and welcoming.

As others have mentioned, there is street noise from the steady parade of passing trucks and busses. While I would prefer a less well-lit restaurant, others will likely find being able to easily read the menu a plus. We will be back.
